The Regional Service-Learning Award took place at the Regional Conference

The Service-Learning Award Ceremony concluded the Regional Service Learning Conference! During the conference, in a formal ceremony winning projects were awarded the “Regional Service-Learning Award” in which a total of 36 projects competed for the award. The countries competing for this award were: Kosovo, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Serbia and Slovakia.

Competitive projects from 6 different countries have passed three levels of evaluation, two of which have been completed at the national level while the evaluation of projects at the third level has been done by an international jury, which is composed of educational professionals from around the world.

The Regional Service-Learning Award was held for the second time and schools which have implemented very good service-learning projects were awarded with the first three places, which correspond to monetary values of:

$1,000 – First Place

$750 – Second Place

$500 – Third Place

Whereas Albania won first prize, followed by Bosnia and Herzegovina in second place, and Romania in third place. The funds won from this regional competition will be used to further develop Service Learning projects in the respective schools or communities
